Exhibit and Livery Hours

We are open Wednesday - Sunday all year, except for a 3-week winter holiday closure.

Seasonal Hours:

September 28 - October 30, 2022: 10:00am-6:00pm: Last boat out @ 4:45pm.

November 2, 2022 - March 12, 2023: 10:00am-4:00pm: Last boat out @ 2:45pm.

November 24, 2022: Thanksgiving closure.

December 12, 2022 - January 3, 2023: Winter closure.

January 4, 2023 - March 12, 2023.: 10:00am-6:00pm: Last boat out @ 4:45pm.

March 15, 2023 - September 24, 2023.: 11:00am-7:00pm: Last boat out @ 5:45pm.

The Center for Wooden Boats at SLU is located inside Lake Union Park and consists of the Wagner Education Center, as well as a set of floating structures–The Boathouse and The Boatshop.

Admission to The Center for Wooden Boats is always free! You’re welcome to join us in the Wagner Education Center and on the docks to admire the boats during regular business hours.

Cama Beach

Toy boat building will still be offered on Saturdays 10am-2pm at the boathouse.

Located inside Cama Beach State Park.

The Center for Wooden Boats at Cama Beach State Park is set in a spectacular, 433-acre waterfront location against a forested backdrop. It is connected by a mile-long trail to Camano Island State Park, a 134-acre camping park. Both parks are open for day use or overnight stays year round.

Admission to The Center for Wooden Boats is always free! Some programs, such as boat rentals, have associated fees, and others have suggested donations. Walking the beach, exploring the boats and browsing the exhibits is always free of charge.
